SYNOPSIS:

Manga Synopsis – Sixteen year old Mogami Kyoko sacrificed her life to support her boyfriend, Sho, so he could become a successful singer. One day, Sho suddenly breaks up with Kyoko, leaving her with nothing, and Kyoko vows revenge. She decides to delve into the entertainment world and become even more successful than Sho to get back at him. Kyoko therein meets Ren, another actor in her agency, who helps motivate her to become a top entertainer.

Beck-live action

“Beck,” the popular music manga by Harold Sakuishi, is being adapted as a live-action film. Director Yukihiko Tsutsumi (“20th Century Boys” will be in charge of the project, with actor Hiro Mizushima in the leading role.

The manga, which was originally serialized from 2000 to 2008, tells the story of five young men who form a rock band called Beck. The protagonist in the manga was the guitarist/vocalist Yukio “Koyuki” Tanaka, but the film will instead revolve around the band’s main guitarist and leader, Ryusuke Minami.

Mizushima has been cast as Ryusuke, while Takeru Sato will play the part of Koyuki.  Playing the other members of Beck are Kenta Kiritani as the rapper Chiba, Osamu Mukai as the bassist Taira, and Aoi Nakamura as the drummer Saku.

30 original songs are being written, which will be performed by the actors themselves with real instruments. Mizushima and the others are currently undergoing special training for about a month. The movie’s climax is said to be a large-scale concert scene with the band playing on stage.

Currently, there’s little information about this but from what I gathered, a Kuroshitsuji Musical is going to happen.

Not sure when though. Hmmm… somewhere between May and June I think.

Blood Live Action Trailer

Pathé has recently released the trainler for the live action adaptation of Mamoru Oshii and Hiroyuki Kitakubo’s Blood: The Last Vampire anime.

Directed by Chris Nahon, the movie which was written by Production IG’s Kenji Kamiyama and Hong Kong’s Ronny Yu stars South Korean Gianna Jun (or Jeon Ji-hyun if you prefer) as the serafuku wearing sword wielding vampire busting girl, Otonashi Saya. The main antagonist, Onigen meanwhile will be played by Japanese Koyuki.

i expect more japanese muvie. HU3.

(劇場版BLEACH The DiamondDust Rebellion もう一つの氷輪丸, Gekijōban Burīchi Za Daiyamondo Dasuto Reberion Mō Hitotsu no Hyōrinmaru)

Theatrical release was on December 22, 2007 n da DVD of the muvie was released on September 3, 2008 (in japan).

SYNOPSIS:

A valuable artifact known as King’s seal was stolen by a mysterious group of people (including 2 girls in blue n red uniform of arrancar) during transport from soul society. Hitsugaya taichou along wif other 10^th squad member were assigned to accompany da seal’s transportation. During da attack, Hitsugaya taichou seems to recognize da leader of da group, who stab him in da stomach. He then abandons his post to chase dat group leader. After da incident, Seireitei declares Hitsugaya taichou as a traitor n orders da capture n execution of him. Ichigo along wif Matsumoto, Rukia n Renji refused to believe this, n swear to revealed da real mastermind of da stolen King’s seal. Hitsugaya taichou then searches for da perpetrators n uncovers a dark secret regarding a long dead shinigami. Dat group leader, identified as Kusaka Soujirou uses Hyourinmaru (identical to Hitsugaya taichou’s zanpaktou) to injure Kyouraku taichou. Both Hitsugaya taichou n Kusaka managed to manifest da same zanpaktou n because this is a taboo in Soul Society, they were forced to fight to death. Hitsugaya taichou did not wish to but accidentally froze Kusaka in da fight. It was decided that Hitsugaya taichou was da winner while Kusaka was apparently killed, only to reincarnate in Hueco Mundo. Seeking revenge on Soul Society, Kusaka stole the King’s Seal, which allows da user to freely manipulate time, space, and matter within a small space. By using it, Kusaka teleports Hitsugaya taichou n himself to Soul Society, needing the power of Hitsugaya taichou’s bankai to break the seal. When Hitsugaya taichou refuses, Kusaka breaks the seal himself, becoming a dragon made of ice. Because he lacks control, the power goes berserk and threatens to destroy Soul Society. With much help, Ichigo and Hitsugaya taichou manage to destroy Kusaka’s dragon form.

Bleach: Fade to Black, I Call Your Name (BLEACH Fade to Black 君の名を呼ぶ, Burichi: Fade to Black – Kimi no Na o Yobu), is scheduled to be released in Japan on December 13, 2008. The official film website gives the tagline of “Sayonara, Rukia”. According to the official website, the plot involves Soul Society members being struck with amnesia, causing them to be hostile towards Ichigo and Rukia. Mitai…mitai…mitai!!!!!
